NSW Kids in Need was created when six NSW children's charities joined forces to make a major difference in the lives of children. It doesn’t take much to make that difference, many small donations can go a long way and in-turn, spread happiness to kids who need it the most.
And so, our currency is happiness.
Our Charities
NSW Kids in Need Foundation is based on an absolutely minimal-cost model that strives to make a real difference in the lives of children by fundraising for six kid’s charities that include Bear Cottage Children’s Hospice, Central Coast Kids In Need, Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award - Australia, Muscular Dystrophy NSW, SHINE For Kids and Westmead Children’s Hospital Burns Unit.
With any positive action, it's often the many little contributions, that when combined, make the biggest impact. |
Operated by a volunteer board who contribute their time and endless enthusiasm, the NSW Kids in Need Foundation partners with organisations including NSW Fire and Rescue, NSW Police Force, Sydney Airport, the Australian Navy, The Australian Army, the Royal Australian Air Force, the Prime Ministers’ Office, and media groups Macquarie Media, Channel Seven and News Limited to organise and promote a series of NSW-based fundraising events each year.

Our Events
We’re asking for the kindness of the public to simply ‘buy a smile’ and bring happiness to a child when you buy a ticket to one of the NSW Kids in Need event days.
What would you pay to walk inside the halls of places normally outside your reach? Locations you dream of exploring and witnessing first hand or just places you’ve always wondered about? Doors normally closed, open up for behind-the-scenes access to raise money in support of NSW kids who are in desperate need. |
Money donated via these events is distributed directly to our six charities, helping them continue on with their critical, life-saving and life-changing work. |
A little happiness goes a long way!
